Job summary

Delaware Valley Community Health in Philadelphia, PA is hiring a Pharmacy Technician for a full-time role. You will dispense medications to patients, collect co-pays, and help implement program policies across the health center.

Requirements include a high school diploma, completion of an accredited technician program, current certification, and bilingual English/Spanish. Prior pharmacy experience and basic computer skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Graduation from an accredited pharmacy technician program is required (will take experience into consideration).
• Pharmacy Technician certification required.
• Previous pharmacy experience preferred.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) required.
• Ability to use good reasoning and judgment.
• Proficiency in basic computer skills.
• Demonstrate good listening, customer service skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Dispense medications to and collect co-pays from patients of the health center.
• Collaborate with health center management to create system-wide policies and procedures for operating the programs.
• Work with health center staff to operate these programs.
