Responsibilities

1. Assist the pharmacist under supervision in pharmacy practice, following state and federal regulations, and support pharmacy department duties per company policies.
2. Use pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information, process prescriptions, and, if PTCB certified, coach other pharmacy staff.
3. Deliver a distinctive customer experience by greeting and assisting customers, resolving issues, and sharing service best practices.
4. Support pharmacy operations including data entry, prescription filling, verifying medicines, managing inventory, and supporting clinical services.
5. Maintain compliance with policies, ensure accurate sales registration, handle cash, and assist with store maintenance and cleanliness.
6. Participate in training, maintain PTCB certification, and stay updated on healthcare developments.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English (except in Puerto Rico).
• Willing to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Preferred: Six months retail experience, prior Walgreens experience, good math and computer skills, PTCB certification.
