Job summary

Johns Hopkins Howard County Medical Center is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to assist in the preparation and packaging of medications, distribution and delivery, and to support inventory control and documentation.

This is a full-time, on-site role at Howard County General Hospital, Columbia, MD. The position requires Maryland registration as a Pharmacy Technician and PTCB certification (or certification within 1 year of hire).

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Registered in the State of Maryland as a Pharmacy Technician.
• PTCB certification required, or obtain PTCB certification within 1 year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparation and packaging of medications, and distribution and delivery of medications.
• Support maintenance of proper inventory levels and keep appropriate records and documentation.
