Job Summary and Qualifications
We are looking for a Certified Pharmacy Technician to join the Parkridge Valley Child & Adolescent Campus.
- Assists in performance of daily pharmacy tasks (procurement, preparation, delivery, return, and restocking of medications)
- Participates in the formulary and inventory management process
- Prepares intravenous admixtures
- Facilitates customer service through communication with both internal and external customers
- Responsible and understands the use of automated pharmacy equipment and software
- Participates and assists with learning activities and other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- 1-2 years hospital pharmacy experience preferred
- Basic computer skills required
- (PharmTech) Pharmacy Technician License, or (CPhT) Certified Pharmacy Technician
