TriStar Centennial Medical Center is seeking a Certified Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacists in daily operations, procurement, preparation, delivery, and restocking of medications. You will deliver excellent service to internal and external customers while upholding policies.

Qualifications

• TN State Pharmacy Tech license required.
• PTCB or CPhT certification must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date.
• Hospital experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Dispenses medications in accordance with hospital policies and government regulations.
• Consults with physicians and nursing staff regarding patient reactions and concerns.
• Assists with quality improvement, inventory, and ordering of pharmaceuticals.
• Monitors and communicates using computerized documentation systems.
• Follows Standard Precautions with PPE.
