Job summary

Qualifications

• Certification as a Pharmacy Technician as mandated by state of practice - Required
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent - Required
• 2+ years applicable experience - Preferred

Responsibilities

• Fills, labels, and distributes medications under pharmacist supervision
• Maintains drug inventory and patient records; performs quality checks
• Disperses controlled substances with proper documentation
• Ensures medications are checked and released by a pharmacist prior to dispensing
• Responds to phone/in-person requests and STAT needs promptly
• Replenishes medications in dispensing systems and ambulatory care areas
