Job summary

Hy-Vee's Des Moines Pharmacy Fulfillment Center is hiring a Certified Pharmacy Technician to support a fast-paced central fill operation. You will assist pharmacists with accurate preparation and distribution of prescription medications, stock supplies, and help maintain compliance with HIPAA and safety guidelines.

This full-time role requires a high school diploma, active pharmacy technician license, and CE credits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; licensed technician through a certified national program and ongoing CE.
• Previous experience as a pharmacy technician or clerk preferred.
• Maintain license and comply with continuing education requirements.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and affix labels to prescription containers.
• Assist pharmacists in accurate preparation and distribution of medications.
• Handle inquiries not requiring a pharmacist's judgment.
• Maintain cleanliness of the pharmacy and dispensing area.
• Adhere to SOPs and HIPAA/regulatory requirements.
• Stock pharmacy supplies and assist with mail order duties.
