Job summary
Regional One Health in Memphis, TN is seeking a full-time Certified Pharmacy Technician for our East Pharmacy, Mon-Fri schedule. You will support licensed pharmacists, prepare unit-dose medications, and assist with IV admixtures while maintaining patient records.
The role requires TN licensure and national certification (PTCB or NHA). At least 1 year of experience is preferred; we offer a supportive hospital environment and opportunities for growth.
Qualifications
- Must have completed a Pharmacy Technician program or equivalent.
- Currently certified as Pharmacy Technician (PTCB or NHA) or eligible.
- TN Pharmacy Tech License required at time of hire.
- Minimum 1 year of pharmacy technician experience.
Responsibilities
- Provides technical pharmacy services under supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
- Prepares unit dose medications and fills unit dose carts.
- Calculates, weighs, and compounds ingredients for non-sterile products.
- Prepares, labels and documents IV products and sterile solutions.
- Maintains accurate medication records and processes patient charges.
- Delivers medications to patient care units and updates records.
- Maintains inventory and ensures proper storage of pharmaceuticals.
- Adheres to HIPAA, safety and compliance policies.
