Job summary

Regional One Health is seeking a full-time Certified Pharmacy Technician for the East Pharmacy in Memphis, TN. The role operates on a day shift, Mon-Fri, with no travel, under supervision of a licensed pharmacist.

Requirements include National Certification (PTCB or NHA) and a TN Pharmacy Technician license. You will prepare unit dose medications, IV products, maintain records, and support patient care across departments in a hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of Pharmacy Technician program or equivalent education.
• PHRMTECH-R - Registered Pharmacy Technician Upon Hire Required
• Minimum 1 year experience as Pharmacy Technician or patient care experience via technician program

Responsibilities

• Provides technical pharmacy services under supervision of licensed pharmacist and in accordance with policies.
• Prepares unit dose medications and fills unit dose carts.
• Calculates, weighs and compounds ingredients to prepare non-sterile products.
• Prepares, labels and documents IV products.
• Uses aseptic techniques and laminar flow hood for syringes and sterile products.
• Packages and labels dosage forms with appropriate packaging and equipment.
• Documents medication orders and delivers orders to units.
• Maintains prescription/medication and department records.
