The ideal candidate will have at least one year of retail pharmacy experience, a pharmacy technician license (PTCB or NHA), and strong computer/interpersonal skills, with a focus on accuracy and patient safety.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of a pharmacy technician program preferred.
• Minimum one year of retail pharmacy experience is required.
• Pharmacy Technician Licensure required; PTCB or Certification through NHA required.
• Strong computer and interpersonal skills; good dosage calculations.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist with preparing, labeling, and dispensing medications.
• Resolve insurance and prescription denials.
• Manage inventory and cash funds; maintain dispensing records.
• Process charges and enter data in computer systems.
• Clean and sterilize pharmacy equipment; receive and store supplies.
