Job summary

Mercy Hospital - Perry is seeking Pharmacy Technicians to assist pharmacists in preparing, compounding, and dispensing medications in a fast-paced hospital setting. The role supports patient safety and regulatory compliance under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist.

Candidates must meet Missouri Board requirements, have a High School diploma or equivalent, and be willing to obtain registration; 1 year of pharmacy experience is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Licensure: Actively registered with Missouri Board of Pharmacy as Pharmacy Technician or willing to submit by first day of work, including FBI background check.
• Experience: 1 year relevant pharmacy experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacists in preparing, compounding, and dispensing medications.
• Follow applicable laws and regulations for patient safety and care.
• Maintain accurate records and communicate with healthcare team.
