Job summary

Dupont Hospital, LLC is seeking a Certified Pharmacy Technician II to join our hospital pharmacy team. The role focuses on safe preparation, dispensing, and management of medications, supporting pharmacists, and maintaining detailed records to ensure patient safety and compliance.

Responsibilities include sterile and non-sterile compounding, inventory management, operating automated dispensing systems, and providing excellent service to patients and staff.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician in a hospital or healthcare setting required.
• LPT - Licensed Pharmacy Tech in state of employment required or
• PHAR-C - Certified Pharmacy Tech required
• BCLS - Basic Life Support required

Responsibilities

• Assists pharmacists in preparation, labeling, and dispensing of medications per hospital policies.
• Prepares sterile and non-sterile compounded medications using aseptic techniques.
• Manages medication inventory, orders supplies, and conducts regular audits.
• Maintains accurate dispensing records and controlled substances logs.
• Supports pharmacists in medication reviews and history reconciliation.
• Operates automated dispensing systems and troubleshoot as needed.
• Ensures compliance with safety protocols and infection control guidelines.
• Provides excellent customer service to patients, nurses, and staff.
