Job summary

Manpower, Inc. is seeking a Pharmacy Quality Specialist to support MTM programs and Medicare quality initiatives from a home-based setup. You will work with members, providers, pharmacies, and clinical pharmacists to improve medication adherence and health outcomes.

Qualifications

• Must hold NC Pharmacy Technician license and PTCB certification.
• 3–5 years of pharmacy-related experience.
• Strong telephone-based customer service experience.
• Ability to handle approximately 120 outbound calls daily.
• Retail pharmacy experience preferred.
• Medicare experience preferred.
• Eligible to work in the US.

Responsibilities

• Verify member demographics and documentation in MTM platform.
• Obtain, verify, and maintain current medication lists for participants.
• Contact members to explain MTM benefits and schedule CMRs with pharmacists.
• Receive and respond to calls from providers, members, and pharmacies.
• Coordinate provider outreach via outbound faxing and follow-up.
• Assess member needs and triage cases to clinical pharmacists or other departments.
• Support Medicare Star Ratings and other quality initiatives.
• Maintain accurate documentation and deliver excellent customer service.

We're looking for a customer-focused Pharmacy Quality Specialist who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys helping patients stay compliant with important medication therapies while supporting quality healthcare initiatives.

Why This Role Matters

As a Pharmacy Quality Specialist, you will play a key role in supporting Medication Therapy Management (MTM) programs and Medicare quality initiatives. You'll serve as an important connection between members, providers, pharmacies, and clinical pharmacists to help improve medication adherence and health outcomes.

What You'll Do

• Verify member demographic, provider, and pharmacy information and accurately document data within the MTM platform
• Obtain, verify, and maintain current medication lists for program participants
• Contact members to explain MTM program benefits, complete HIPAA verification, and schedule Comprehensive Medication Reviews (CMRs) and Targeted Interventions with pharmacists
• Receive and respond to calls from provider offices, members, and pharmacies while determining appropriate next steps and escalating when necessary
• Coordinate provider outreach through outbound faxing and follow-up communication
• Assess member needs and triage cases to clinical pharmacists or other departments as appropriate
• Support Medicare Star Ratings and other pharmacy quality initiatives
• Maintain accurate documentation and provide exceptional customer service in a high-volume call environment

What We're Looking For

• A current, up-to-date resume
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Active North Carolina Pharmacy Technician License required
• PTCB Certification (Pharmacy Technician Certification Board) required
• 3-5 years of pharmacy-related experience
• Strong telephone-based customer service experience
• Ability to manage a high-volume workload, including approximately 120 outbound calls daily
• Retail pharmacy experience strongly preferred
• Experience assisting patients with medication refill coordination preferred
• Medicare experience preferred
• Strong computer skills and attention to detail
• Experience working with medication therapy management (MTM) programs preferred
• Ability to communicate effectively with members, providers, pharmacies, and internal teams
• Ability to meet compliance requirements
• Must be eligible and provide proof of eligibility to work in the US
