The role includes creating client programs, conducting fitness consultations, supervising sessions, driving program sales, and maintaining accurate documentation, while staying current with certifications and trends in the industry.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1 year of personal training experience.
• Certified Personal Trainer.
• CPR and AED Certified.
• Knowledge of fitness, cardiovascular training, nutrition and program design.
• Ability to perform an aerobic activity and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Develop safe, comprehensive client programs to drive goal achievement and retention.
• Monitor clients during sessions on equipment use and safety.
• Conduct fitness consultations including pre-participation screening and goal setting.
• Provide fitness floor assistance and motivate members.
• Promote and sell personal training programs and services.
• Complete administrative requirements for each client’s plan.
• Keep credentials current and advance through levels.
