00 RHA Health Services, LLC is hiring a Certified Peer Support Specialist (CPSS) to work in community-based settings in North Carolina. You will provide expert peer support, advocate for clients, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to promote recovery and self-determination.

Responsibilities include client meetings, facilitating peer support groups, resource navigation, and participating in community activities to support clients’ independent living and health goals.

Qualificações

• 1 year of experience working with the population served is required.
• Certified Peer Support Specialist or eligibility for certification is required.
• Minimum training: 20 hours on service-specific components within 90 days.

Responsabilidades

• Provide expertise and consultation to the interdisciplinary team.
• Meet with clients to offer advice and support per treatment plans.
• Assist in peer support groups with assigned consumers.
• Support daily decision making and resolution of minor problems.
• Help clients locate resources and encourage follow-through on resolutions.
• Attend meetings and advocate for consumer needs; support recovery dialogues.
