Job summary

GENESEE HEALTH SYSTEM is seeking dedicated individuals to join our clinical team as Certified Peer Support Specialists. The role focuses on housing, entitlements, skill-building and ongoing peer support, under the Program Supervisor's direction.

Qualified candidates have a high school diploma and CPSS status or eligibility, with a valid driver's license and ability to work weekends/holidays. We offer disability accommodations in the application process.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and ability to read/write.
• Must be CPSS status or eligible and plan to take exam within 12 months.
• Must have valid driver's license, current insurance and vehicle for program hours.
• Willing to work weekends, holidays and irregular hours.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive services to Genesee Health System clients in housing, entitlements, skill building and peer support.
• Liaise with families, agencies, guardians and natural supports; collaborate with program staff to meet client goals.
• Promote increased community inclusion, independence and productivity through client activities.
• Partner with the Program Supervisor and the clinical team to coordinate services and referrals.
