Job summary

Clarksburg Comprehensive Treatment Center (CTC) in Clarksburg, WV, part of Acadia's network, seeks a Certified Peer Recovery Specialist to support patients with Opioid Use Disorder, help navigate treatment, and promote long-term recovery.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; college degree preferred.
• Personal or professional recovery experience highly valued.
• Familiarity with Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) approaches welcomed.

Responsibilities

• Provide peer support to patients, guiding recovery and engagement.
• Engage patients at initial contact to determine level of care.
• Advocate and mentor to promote empowerment and informed decisions.
• Share coping strategies to support long-term wellness and relapse prevention.
• Coordinate with clinical teams and community resources for housing, employment, and social needs.
