Job summary

US Pediatric Partners is seeking a Certified/Registered Medical Assistant (CMA/RMA) to support pediatric providers with patient workups, lab collection and procedures within scope of practice. You will assist during exams, prepare rooms, and document vital signs and medications as directed by physicians.

We value compassionate care for children and a team-focused environment. Active CMA/RMA and CPR certification are required, with pediatric experience preferred and EMR proficiency encouraged.

Qualifications

• Must have active CMA/RMA certification.
• CPR certification required.
• Experience in a pediatric medical practice preferred.
• Proficient with computer applications and EMR systems.
• Ability to communicate or write effectively and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to exam rooms, interview patients, and record vital signs.
• Prepare patients for examination and assist the physician during exams.
• Collect and prepare laboratory specimens and perform basic tests.
• Maintain exam rooms and stock supplies, and sterilize equipment.
• Prepare and administer medications as directed by the physician.
• Process messages between patients, front office staff, and providers.
• Adhere to HIPAA and patient privacy requirements.
