Job summary

Gem City Nursing & Rehab, Ohio, seeks a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to support licensed therapists in delivering OT services to residents. The OTA will help develop treatment plans, perform routine duties, and document progress.

Qualifications

• Associates degree from an accredited OT program.
• Current state licensure as OTA.
• Knowledge of SNF standards and regulations.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Select therapy activities tailored to patient needs and record progress.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals involved in care.
• Instruct patients and families in home programs and adaptive equipment use.
• Assess daily living skills and assist with dressing and grooming.
• Maintain and clean equipment and prepare materials for patient use.
• Attend care plan meetings and update plans as needed.
