Job summary

Bedford Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to support licensed therapists in delivering occupational therapy services. You will help develop and carry out treatment plans, conduct routine activities, and document patient progress.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree from an accredited occupational therapy program is required.
• Current state licensure as Occupational Therapy Assistant is required.

Responsibilities

• Select therapy activities to fit patients’ needs and capabilities, observing progress and recording in records.
• Collaborate with other health care professionals involved in the care of a patient.
• Instruct patients and families in home programs and use of adaptive equipment; assist in implementing treatment plans.
