Job summary

Soliant in the United States is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) with 2+ years of OR experience to join a hospital surgical team. You will assist surgeons, nurses, and anesthesiologists, ensuring sterile technique and a safe, efficient operating room.

Your duties include preparing rooms and instruments, maintaining aseptic technique, counting sponges and needles, and supporting the surgical team during procedures.

Qualifications

• Certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST).
• Proven skills in Nursing - Operating Room Technology (ORT).
• Experience assisting in surgical procedures and maintaining a sterile environment.
• Ability to anticipate the needs of the surgical team and respond quickly to changing situations.
• Strong knowledge of surgical instruments, equipment care, and setup.
• Excellent organizational and communication abilities.
• Commitment to strict infection control protocols and patient confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Prepare operating rooms, ensuring all surgical instruments and supplies are available and properly sterilized.
• Assist surgeons, nurses, and anesthesiologists during operations for efficient workflow.
• Maintain aseptic technique before, during, and after surgical procedures.
• Count sponges, needles, and instruments to ensure patient safety.
