Job summary

SCA Health in California is hiring a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) to support operating rooms across our ambulatory centers. The CST will scrub and assist in invasive procedures, ensuring instruments are sterile and ready for use.

The role requires completion of a surgical technologist program, CST certification (preferred), and BLS within 90 days. Prior CST experience is preferred. This is a full-time, on-site position with competitive hourly pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technologist Program.
• Prior experience as a Surgical Technologist preferred.
• Current Surgical Technologist certification preferred.
• Successful completion of BLS within 90 days of employment or documentation of current BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Function as a scrub person during operative and other invasive procedures.
• Clean and prepare surgical instruments for processing and transport to decontamination areas.
• Assist with post-procedure cleaning of the operative room and prepare room for subsequent patients.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
