Job summary

Soliant is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) to support surgical teams in Charleston, SC. The role emphasizes assisting with sterile field setup, instrument management, and collaboration with surgeons and nurses.

Qualifications

• Current CST certification is required.
• Experience in operating room tech and nursing assistance.
• Knowledge of aseptic techniques and patient safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Assist surgical teams during procedures by ensuring all necessary supplies and equipment are available and sterile.
• Prepare and maintain the sterile field, organize tools and materials, and ensure the proper functioning of surgical instruments.
• Support pre-operative and post-operative procedures, including patient preparation and documentation.
• Adhere strictly to infection control standards and safety guidelines.
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care.
• Maintain detailed records of surgical procedures, instruments used, and patient outcomes.
