Job summary

Denver Recovery Group is seeking a Counselor to provide direct and indirect therapy to outpatients, coordinating with doctors, probation/parole and other services. The role requires participating in team meetings and trainings, maintaining client records, and applying treatment plans with clear documentation.

Qualifications

• Credentials and experience relevant to counseling or therapy required or preferred.
• Ability to coordinate care with multiple providers and services.
• Strong documentation skills and attention to regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct/indirect therapy to outpatients as appropriate.
• Coordinate care with primary care doctors and other providers.
• Attend team meetings and company trainings.
• Maintain timely, accurate client records and treatment plans.
• Document treatment goals and progress clearly for each client.
• Assist with discharge planning and treatment evaluation.
• Follow applicable protocols and ensure continuity among clinical teams.
• Occasionally assist with lifting up to 30 pounds.

Pay: $24.00 - $34.00 per hour dependent on credentials and experience.

Counselor Job Description

Responsibilities include providing direct/indirect therapy services to outpatients who require or will benefit from therapy skills and interventions. This includes, but is not limited to:

Provides case management services to coordinate care with primary care doctors, other prescribing physicians, probation, parole, child/adult services, and other supporting services

Attends all clinic team meetings and company training

Communicates at a level that reflects above-average quality work

Maintain client records and other data as required by regulatory agencies promptly.

Treatment Planning: Applies assessment, evaluation, and reassessment data to the formulation of treatment plans.

Supports recovery principles by incorporating the individual's and their family's (when applicable) strengths, barriers, and needs into the plan components.

Documents treatment goals/objectives/discharge plans that are written in clear and understandable language and include clients' own words.

Formulate measurable, achievable goals and objectives within the scope of treatment provided in collaboration with the client.

Describes clinical modalities/interventions that are responsible and provide according to applicable protocols.

Reassess treatment effectiveness and adapt treatment plan as needed

Maintains continuity among clinical teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs

Occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds.
