Responsibilities

  • Perform ophthalmic patient care and support services under supervision.
  • Order clinic supplies and manage instruments.
  • Conduct diagnostic tests including retinoscopy, refractions, visual fields, and keratometry.
  • Educate patients on ophthalmic conditions and treatments.
  • Assist in pre-op cataract measurements for intraocular lens.
  • Support front desk tasks and patient scheduling.
  • Set up and assist in minor in-office surgeries.
  • Scrub in for ocular procedures as required.
  • Maintain patient database and outreach for eye screenings.
