We are currently seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our growing network and provide top-tier care in a rehabilitation or skilled nursing setting across California.
As a COTA, you will work under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist (OTR) to provide therapeutic services and support patients in regaining independence in their daily activities. This role is ideal for professionals who thrive in collaborative, patient-centered environments.
Assist the OTR in delivering patient-specific treatment plans
Guide patients through therapeutic exercises and activities
Monitor and report on patient progress and responses to treatment
Document sessions accurately in compliance with facility and state standards
Help implement adaptive equipment or techniques to support patient independence
Support discharge planning with the OT and interdisciplinary team
Promote a safe and positive environment for rehabilitation
Current COTA certification and California licensure
Graduate of an accredited OTA program
CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain)
Prior experience in rehab or skilled nursing facility preferred
Strong communication, organizational, and clinical skills
A compassionate, professional, and team-oriented attitude
