We are currently seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our growing network and provide top-tier care in a rehabilitation or skilled nursing setting across California.

Position Summary:

As a COTA, you will work under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist (OTR) to provide therapeutic services and support patients in regaining independence in their daily activities. This role is ideal for professionals who thrive in collaborative, patient-centered environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the OTR in delivering patient-specific treatment plans

• Guide patients through therapeutic exercises and activities

• Monitor and report on patient progress and responses to treatment

• Document sessions accurately in compliance with facility and state standards

• Help implement adaptive equipment or techniques to support patient independence

• Support discharge planning with the OT and interdisciplinary team

• Promote a safe and positive environment for rehabilitation

Requirements:

• Current COTA certification and California licensure

• Graduate of an accredited OTA program

• CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain)

• Prior experience in rehab or skilled nursing facility preferred

• Strong communication, organizational, and clinical skills

• A compassionate, professional, and team-oriented attitude
