Job summary

Trilogy Health Services seeks an Occupational Therapy Assistant to provide therapeutic interventions under the supervision of an OT across campus locations, home health and outpatient care. You will help evaluate patient responses and document progress with an emphasis on high-quality, cost-effective care.

The role requires an Associate Degree with 0-1 years of experience. OTA licensure/certification and CPR are required; travel is typically less than 10%.

Qualifications

• Provides, under the direction of an OT, therapeutic interventions in an interdisciplinary environment.
• Demonstrates accountability for program development and quality improvement.

Responsibilities

• Provides therapeutic interventions as directed by the occupational therapist in campus locations, home health and/or outpatient care.
• Evaluates patient response to treatment and provides feedback to the team.
• Documents the course of patient care including progress and continuing need for treatment.
• Collaborates with the OT to develop education methods for patients and families.
• Assists the OT in providing in-service/cross-training on OT knowledge and skills.
• Contributes to cost-effective care.
• Reports complaints or incidents per policy and to the Rehab Program Director/Executive Director.
• Travels to other campus locations or home health assignments as needed.
• Maintains competencies and participates in survey preparation.
• Other duties as assigned.
