Recover-Care is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to support licensed therapists in a skilled nursing facility. You will contribute to treatment planning, implement routine activities, and document patient progress to help individuals regain independence.

The role requires an Associate’s degree in OT and current state licensure, with strong communication and organizational skills to coordinate care with a multidisciplinary team and families.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree from an accredited occupational therapy program.
• Current state licensure as Occupational Therapy Assistant.
• Proficiency with all applicable state, federal, and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Select therapy activities to fit patients’ needs and capabilities; observe and record progress.
• Collaborate with other health care professionals involved in care.
• Instruct patients and families in home programs and adaptive equipment use; assist in implementing treatment plans.
