Mercy is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to support patient care across age groups. You will assist with initial assessments, document progress, and apply therapeutic modalities under supervision in the inpatient setting.
Responsibilities include maintaining records, promoting department education, and adapting care for neonatal to geriatric patients as directed by the Inpatient Physical Medicine Supervisor.
Under the general supervision of alicensed Occupational Therapist and according to standards of treatment, assists with objective assessments as well as comprehensive individualized treatment programs for patients of all age ranges, according to departmental policies and procedures. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.
