Job summary

Providence is hiring a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) based in their Seattle MLK site, covering north and east King County/South Snohomish as needed. This role involves providing COTA services under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist and coordinating home care.

The position requires relevant licensing and experience in Occupational Therapy, promoting the health and independence of elders in the community.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Washington Occupational Therapy Assistant License required upon hire.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association certification within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide COTA services and direct treatment in consultation with the Occupational Therapist.
• Function as part of the Interdisciplinary Team.
• Responsible for home care coordination.

Job Description

Assesses needs and provides Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) services and direct treatment in consultation with the Occupational Therapist. The COTA functions as a member of the Interdisciplinary Team. Responsible for home care coordination.

Required Qualifications

• Coursework/Training- Graduate of a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Washington Occupational Therapy Assistant License upon hire or,
• Washington Occupational Therapy Assistant Limited Permit upon hire or,
• Washington Occupational Therapy Assistant Temporary License upon hire.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association within 30 days of hire.

Preferred Qualifications

• 1 year- Experience in the area of Occupational Therapy as a COTA.
