Job summary

Potomac Valley Nursing & Rehab Center is seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) for a full-time position in Maryland. You will provide direct patient care, assess functional needs, and implement therapy plans under physician guidance.

Responsibilities include documenting patient progress, educating families, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal outcomes. A strong LTC/geriatric background is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid professional license and registration for state of practice.
• Experience with long-term care and/or geriatric care is preferred.

Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) - FT

$7,500 Retention Bonus for the FT Position

Salary Range is Dependent upon Status and Years of Experienc.

FT $29-$40 per hour

PT $30-$40 per hour

PRN $38-$45 per hour

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Providing direct patient care to assess their medical condition, functional capabilities, limitations and restrictions and potential for rehabilitation.

• Administer a treatment program with specific goals determined according to the patient’s capacity and tolerance under the direction of the Physician.

• Document and record the patients’ condition and educate patients and families in an appropriate physical therapy method.

• Collaborates with all disciplines to provide best patient centered treatment and care.
