Job summary

Synchrony is looking for an Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) in Indiana. The OTA works under an Occupational Therapist to provide therapeutic interventions in an interdisciplinary setting, with licensure requirements and CPR preferred.

Education required is an OTA degree from an accredited program, with 0–1 years experience. The role involves executing treatment plans, assisting with ADL training, documenting progress, and educating patients and families.

Qualifications

• Must have current, valid state OTA licensure or certification.
• Current CPR certification, preferred.
• Education: OTA degree from an accredited program.

Responsibilities

• Assist in carrying out treatment plans developed by occupational therapists, including exercises and ADL training.
• Help patients with exercises and adaptive techniques to improve function and independence.
• Observe, document, and report patient progress to supervising OT.
• Educate patients and families on home exercises and progress strategies.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care.
• Support OTs in evaluating patient needs and progress.
