Job summary

EverActive in Michigan is seeking a motivated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) Team Lead to join our new assisted living therapy team serving Livonia and Northville.

You will provide hands-on OT services under the supervision of a licensed OT, lead and support the therapy team across communities, coordinate daily operations, and partner with facility staff to help residents maintain independence and quality of life.

Qualifications

• Current Michigan Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant license.
• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.
• Interest in leadership, team development, and quality improvement.
• Experience in assisted living, senior care, or a similar setting is preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy services to residents under the direction and supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist.

This is a great opportunity for a COTA who is passionate about helping older adults maintain their independence and quality of life and is ready to take on additional leadership responsibilities while continuing to provide hands-on occupational therapy services.
