Job summary

Sunrise Post Acute in Banning, CA, seeks a dedicated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our rehabilitation team. You will work under a licensed OT to help residents regain daily living skills and independence, using evidence-based interventions in a supportive setting.

Our facility provides short-term rehab and long-term care with a compassionate, patient-centered culture, collaborative care teams, and ongoing education.

Qualifications

• Current California COTA license.
• Passion for patient-centered care.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Skilled nursing or post-acute experience preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Work under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist to implement treatment plans.
• Assist residents in improving their ability to perform activities of daily living.
• Document patient progress and communicate effectively with the interdisciplinary care team.
