Job summary

Sunrise Post Acute in Banning, CA is hiring a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for a part-time role within our collaborative rehabilitation team. The COTA will support residents in regaining independence under an OT supervisor and contribute to individualized care plans.

Ideal candidates hold a California COTA license, demonstrate strong communication and teamwork, and bring a patient-centered approach.

Qualifications

• Current California COTA license.
• Passion for patient-centered care.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Skilled nursing or post-acute experience preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Work under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist to implement treatment plans.
• Assist residents in improving their ability to perform activities of daily living.
• Document patient progress and communicate effectively with the interdisciplinary care team.
• Bring encouragement, creativity, and compassion to each therapy session.
