Job summary

Jurupa Hills Post Acute in Riverside, CA is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our rehabilitation team. You will work closely with the Occupational Therapist and interdisciplinary staff to help residents regain independence and improve daily living skills.

We offer competitive hourly pay ranging from $34 to $40 per hour DOE, along with comprehensive benefits and opportunities for professional development.

Qualifications

• Current California COTA license in good standing.
• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Current CPR certification preferred.
• SNF, post-acute, or rehabilitation experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Carry out occupational therapy treatment plans established by the Occupational Therapist.
• Provide therapeutic interventions to improve residents' daily living skills, mobility, strength, coordination, and functional independence.
• Accurately document treatment sessions, resident progress, and outcomes.
• Communicate resident status and treatment updates with the therapy team and interdisciplinary staff.
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and facility policies and procedures.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized treatment environment.
• Assist with discharge planning and caregiver education as directed.

Jurupa Hills Post Acute is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our growing rehabilitation team. In this role, you will work closely with the Occupational Therapist and interdisciplinary team to help residents regain independence, improve functional abilities, and enhance their quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Carry out occupational therapy treatment plans established by the Occupational Therapist.
• Provide therapeutic interventions to improve residents' daily living skills, mobility, strength, coordination, and functional independence.
