Colonial Manor of Elma is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to support and implement therapy programs that help residents regain independence and improve quality of life. This role offers full-time, part-time, or PRN options, with competitive pay, comprehensive benefits, and growth opportunities.

As part of our in-house therapy team, you will assist under supervision of an Occupational Therapist, monitor progress, document outcomes, and educate residents and families on

Qualifications

• Active Iowa COTA license.
• Experience preferred, but new grads considered.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

• Assist in implementing customized OT programs under supervision.
• Help patients regain independence in daily activities through targeted exercises.

Your Impact:

As a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA), you will:

• Assist in implementing customized occupational therapy programs under the direction of an Occupational Therapist.
• Help patients regain strength and independence in daily activities through targeted therapy exercises.
• Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting care plans as needed.
• Educate patients and families on therapy goals and at-home exercises.
• Ensure patients feel supported and comfortable throughout their therapy sessions.

What We’re Looking For:

• State of Iowa Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant License
• Experience preferred – but we’re also willing to invest in new grads!
