Cathedral Health Care Center in Jasper, IN is seeking a compassionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our rehabilitation team on a PRN basis.

You will implement treatment plans, provide hands-on interventions, document progress, and work with the interdisciplinary team to support residents’ independence and quality of life.

Qualifications

• Current Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) certification.
• Active COTA license in Indiana.
• Current BLS certification.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to providing compassionate, patient‑centered care.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative rehabilitation team.

Responsibilities

• Assist with implementing individualized occupational therapy treatment plans under the direction of a licensed Occupational Therapist
• Provide hands‑on therapeutic interventions to improve residents’ strength, coordination, mobility, and ability to perform daily activities
• Monitor and document resident progress and communicate changes with the Occupational Therapist and interdisciplinary care team
• Educate residents and caregivers on therapeutic techniques and strategies to promote continued progress and independence
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow all clinical, facility, and regulatory standards
