Independence Rehab Inc. seeks a Full-Time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our therapy team at Spring Creek, a well-regarded skilled nursing facility in Millcreek, UT.

Qualifications

• Current Utah Occupational Therapy Assistant license in good standing.
• Associate degree from an accredited OTA program.
• Organized, self-motivated, and patient-focused.
• Passion for working with the geriatric population.
• One year of SNF experience preferred, but newer clinicians with strong interest in geriatrics are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Support residents through rehabilitation, recovery and long-term care to help them achieve meaningful progress and improved quality of life.
• Collaborate closely with the evaluating OT and interdisciplinary care team.
• Assist with transfers and ADL retraining and functional task practice.
• Treat a diverse caseload, including occasionally clinically complex patients.

About the Role

As a COTA in a skilled nursing setting, you'll work collaboratively with the therapy team to support residents through rehabilitation, recovery, and long-term care-helping them achieve meaningful progress and improved quality of life.

SNF Practice Highlights

• Treat a diverse caseload, including occasional clinically complex patients

• Perform and assist with all types of transfers

• Provide adaptive ADL retraining and functional task practice

• Collaborate closely with the evaluating OT and interdisciplinary care team
