Job summary

Independence Rehab is actively seeking a Full-Time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our therapy team at Solstice at Normandy Park and Atria Senior Living at Bridge Park. You will split your week between both facilities, providing outpatient therapy and supporting residents’ rehabilitation goals.

Qualifications

• Current Washington State OTA license in good standing.
• Associate degree from an accredited OTA program.
• One year SNF experience preferred, but newer clinicians with strong geriatrics interest are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient therapy to residents and support rehabilitation goals.
• Collaborate with the therapy team to plan and implement treatment across facilities.
• Assist with transfers and functional task practice.
• Support geriatric residents' independence and quality of life.
• Document progress and contribute to care planning.

Independence Rehab

Independence Rehab is actively seeking a Full-Time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our therapy team at Solstice at Normandy Park and Atria Senior Living at Bridge Park, both lovely, well regarded assisted living facilities in the West Seattle area. In this role, you will split your week between both of these facilities, treating patients on an outpatient basis.

About the Role

As a COTA in a skilled nursing setting, you'll work collaboratively with the therapy team to support residents through rehabilitation, recovery, and long-term care-helping them achieve meaningful progress and improved quality of life.

SNF Practice Highlights

• Treat a diverse caseload, including occasional clinically complex patients

• Perform and assist with all types of transfers

• Provide adaptive ADL retraining and functional task practice

• Collaborate closely with the evaluating OT and interdisciplinary care team

• Competency training is available-we're happy to support your growth in any of these areas
