- Estimated Compensation: $29.57 - $46.45 per hour (negotiable).
- Type of Employment:Full-Time, 40 hours a week.

Summary of Duties
The Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) provides therapeutic support services under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist (OT). The COTA helps individuals develop, recover, and improve the skills needed for daily living and working, particularly in educational, clinical, or rehabilitative settings.
Mandatory Qualifications
- Associate degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
- Current certification from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT).
- State licensure or registration as required.
- Experience in school, pediatric, or rehabilitative settings is a plus.
- Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation certified, in accordance with the American Red Cross or American Heart Association.

Duties/Responsibilities:
- Associate degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
- Current certification from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT).
- State licensure or registration as required.
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
- Experience in school, pediatrics, or rehabilitative settings is a plus.
- Implement individualized therapy plans developed by the supervising OT.
- Conduct individual and group therapy sessions to improve motor skills, coordination, and daily living activities.
- Assist in evaluating patients progress and communicate findings to the OT.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions and patient progress.
- Support the use and maintenance of adaptive equipment and assistive technology.
- Collaborate with teachers, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals to integrate therapy goals into daily routines.
- Participate in IEP (Individualized Education Program) meetings and contribute to treatment planning.
- Educate patients, families, and staff on therapeutic techniques and home programs.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and facility regulations and standards.
- Supervise occupational therapy students or interns as assigned.
