Job summary

Mount Carmel Senior Living Community in Mount Carmel, PA is seeking a PRN Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our therapy team. This role provides coverage of approximately 4–6 hours per week, Monday through Friday, from mid-October through mid-January to support maternity leave.

• Associate's Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Current Pennsylvania COTA license in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy treatments in accordance with established plans of care and facility standards.
• Assist the OT in implementing individualized treatment programs to improve residents' function.
• Perform resident screenings to identify potential therapy needs.
• Deliver interventions that promote independence in activities of daily living and mobility.
• Accurately document resident progress and communicate outcomes with the care team.
• Maintain a safe, resident-centered therapy environment.

Mount Carmel Senior Living Community is seeking a compassionate and motivated PRN Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our therapy team in Mount Carmel, PA. This position will provide consistent, as‑needed coverage of approximately 4–6 hours per week, Monday through Friday, from mid-October through mid‑January to support a maternity leave.

What You’ll Do

• Provide occupational therapy treatments in accordance with established plans of care, facility policies, and therapy department standards
• Assist the Occupational Therapist in implementing individualized treatment programs designed to improve residents' functional abilities and quality of life
• Perform resident screenings, as appropriate, to identify potential therapy needs in accordance with state regulations and facility guidelines
• Deliver therapeutic interventions that promote independence with activities of daily living, mobility, strength, and overall functional performance
• Accurately document resident progress and communicate treatment outcomes with the interdisciplinary care team
• Maintain a safe, positive, and resident-centered therapy environment
