Mount Carmel Senior Living Community in Mount Carmel, PA is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) PRN to provide occupational therapy services under supervision, delivering treatment plans and promoting residents’ independence. Schedule: PRN | 4-6 Hours Per Week | Monday-Friday
Coverage: Mid-October through Mid-January - Maternity Leave Coverage
Provide occupational therapy treatments in accordance with established plans of care, facility policies, and therapy department standards
Assist the Occupational Therapist in implementing individualized treatment programs designed to improve residents' functional abilities and quality of life
Perform resident screenings, as appropriate, to identify potential therapy needs in accordance with state regulations and facility guidelines
Deliver therapeutic interventions that promote independence with activities of daily living, mobility, strength, and overall functional performance
Accurately document resident progress and communicate treatment outcomes with the interdisciplinary care team
Maintain a safe, positive, and resident-centered therapy environment
Associate's Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
Current Pennsylvania Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license in good standing
Must be at least 18 years of age
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
Commitment to providing compassionate, resident-focused care
Dedication to continuing education and maintaining all required licensure and certifications
Consistent PRN hours of approximately 4-6 hours per week
Monday-Friday schedule
Temporary maternity leave coverage from mid-October through mid-January
