• Communicating daily with office staff to accept new patients and complete paperwork.
• Facilitating communication with Lead Occupational Therapist to manage patient care.
• Completing in-home therapy service and education to patients and caregivers.

Job Responsibilities:

• Communicating daily with office staff to accept new patients, complete paperwork and turn in payroll
• Keeping open communication with patients and home health agencies to promote a positive and caring experience
• Facilitating communication with Lead Occupational Therapist to manage patient care
• Completion of in home therapy service, education to patients and caregivers and diligent detailed notes on all paperwork
• Attend meetings (as needed with the Canton therapy team)

Job Requirements:

• Degree in Occupational therapy from an accredited school
• Current Occupational Therapy Assistant License for the state of Michigan
• Ability to travel to patient’s home or facility
