As a Remote Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA), you will deliver occupational therapy services remotely. You will work with licensed Occupational Therapists to assess, plan, monitor, and guide treatment via virtual platforms. Your main goal is to help clients achieve their occupational therapy objectives and enhance their functional abilities remotely.

Responsibilities include:

• Providing remote occupational therapy interventions, exercises, and activities to help patients meet their goals.
• Educating patients and caregivers on techniques to promote independence and well-being.
• Maintaining accurate patient records, including progress notes and documentation.
• Following ethical and legal standards, including patient privacy and confidentiality (HIPAA).
• Using telehealth platforms effectively for remote sessions.
• Engaging in ongoing professional development to stay current in occupational therapy practices.

Compensation

W2 | $27.00 - $46.00 per hour, based on experience, qualifications, and bilingualism.

• Valid COTA certification
• Active CA State COTA license
• Experience in clinics, private practices, hospitals, or home health
• Proficiency with teletherapy platforms
• Comfort working with pediatrics (18 months+)
• Experience with feeding, sensory, hand therapy, emotional regulation, and neurodiverse clients preferred
