Job summary

Salgado LLC is seeking a skilled Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our dedicated care team in a geriatric setting. You will work under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist to provide restorative and rehabilitative services aimed at maximizing independence, safety, and quality of life for our patients.

Responsibilities include administering treatment programs, taking vitals, collaborating with the rehabilitation team, managing scheduling and billing, and documenting

Qualifications

  • Associate Degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant from an accredited program.
  • California OT License valid or proof of eligibility in CA.
  • If degree earned outside the U.S., it must be evaluated for U.S. equivalency.
  • Reliable means of transportation.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a COTA in a clinical setting, preferably with a frail or elderly population.
  • Knowledge and skills necessary to effectively treat patients with complex needs.

  • Deliver and document occupational therapy interventions, including use of devices, therapeutic techniques, and activities to promote muscle re-education, perceptual-motor and cognitive function, balance, endurance, and overall independence in activities of daily living (ADLs).
  • Other duties as assigned.

Role Summary
