Job summary

Veracity Ventures Inc. is seeking a California-licensed Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) to join our San Jose clinic onsite full-time. You will work with adults and older adults, providing personalized OT services within a collaborative, multidisciplinary care team, at the center and in participants' homes.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) from an accredited program.
• Valid California OTA license or proof of license eligibility.
• Knowledge and skills to work with frail, elderly participants with complex needs.

Responsibilities

• Implement occupational therapy treatment programs established by the OT.
• Provide restorative and rehabilitative services to help participants maximize independence and safety.
• Assist with obtaining vital signs, range of motion, and strength measurements.
• Coordinate with the Rehabilitation team to carry out individualized treatment plans.
• Provide interventions involving adaptive devices, therapeutic techniques, activities, and exercises.
• Support muscle re-education, perceptual-motor and cognitive function, balance, endurance, and ADL performance.
• Schedule participant treatments and clinical visits.
• Complete accurate clinical documentation and billing-related responsibilities.
• Communicate participant progress and condition updates with the interdisciplinary team.

Pediatric-only experience does not meet the ideal profile for this role.
