Job summary

North Texas Therapy & Home Care seeks a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to provide pediatric OT services in patients' homes or daytime facilities. You will work under a supervising OT and coordinate with the care team to meet patient goals.

The role requires Texas OTA licensure, an Associate degree, and at least 6 months of clinical experience, with pediatric and home health experience preferred. Valid driver's license and auto insurance are required.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current Texas licensure as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant.
• Minimum 6 months of full-time clinical experience.
• Pediatric experience preferred.
• Home health experience preferred.
• Must carry valid auto insurance and driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled occupational therapy services/interventions per physician orders.
• Deliver services in patients' homes or daytime facility.
• Schedule supervision visits with supervising OT per Texas board guidelines.
• Collaborate with all disciplines to plan and address patient goals.
• Plan care to meet OT intervention goals.
• Update knowledge by continuing education and professional activities.
• Enhance OT reputation by ownership of requests and adding value.
