Job summary

North Texas Therapy & Home Care in Dallas, TX is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to deliver pediatric occupational therapy services in patients' homes or day programs.

The role requires a Texas OTA license, a minimum of 6 months of full-time clinical experience, and pediatrics experience; home health is preferred. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and pursue ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Associates of Science in Occupational Therapy from an accredited college or university.
• Current state of Texas licensure as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant.
• 6 months of full-time clinical experience; pediatrics experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides skilled occupational therapy services/interventions in accordance with physician orders.
• Provides skilled occupational therapy services/interventions in the patients home or daytime facility.
• Schedules supervision visit(s) with his/her supervising OT according to Texas board guidelines.
• Collaborates with all disciplines to plan and address team goals for each patient.
• Plans for care to meet goals of the occupational therapy interventions.
• Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and professional activities.

Requirements:

• Associates of Science in Occupational Therapy from an accredited college or university
• Current state of Texas licensure as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant
