Join us as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant - COTA at Indigo Hall.

This is a temporary 6-week assignment starting August 4th, with the possibility of extension for up to 12 weeks.

Position Details

• Location: Charleston, SC
• Schedule: Monday-Thursday
• Rate: $35/hr

Job Summary

The OTA, under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist, provides therapeutic interventions in an interdisciplinary environment, adhering to professional standards.

Qualifications

• Valid state OTA license or certification
• Current CPR certification (preferred)
• Degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant from an accredited program
• 0-1 years of experience

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing treatment plans developed by occupational therapists
• Help patients with exercises and activities to improve independence
• Document patient responses and progress
• Educate patients and families on exercises and strategies
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team
• Support occupational therapists in patient evaluation and care
